Fleur de Sel Restaurant was opened by the husband and wife team of Martin and Sylvie Ruiz Salvador in 2004. That year, the restaurant gained a spot on En Route’s Top Ten New Restaurants in Canada in its first year of operation and continued to achieve national attention until its final season in 2018. Martin & Sylvie enjoyed every moment at 53 Montague Street but felt it was time to make a change and switch focus.
