WE'RE TAKING A SABBATICAL.
After twelve successful seasons at Fleur de Sel we are both excited (and apprehensive) to announce that Fleur de Sel will be going on sabbatical for the 2016 season.
We opened Fleur de Sel in 2004 as two young and adventurous 29 year olds and now - with three restaurants and 56 employees – are fortunate enough to take this opportunity.
We truly love, and are very proud of, Fleur de Sel and the many accomplishments and awards we have achieved and are in no sense ready to leave the restaurant behind. We plan on taking advantage of this year off to explore both all of the new and exciting culinary happenings here in Nova Scotia as well as abroad. We will take this time to continue to grow and learn and come back better than ever.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for being such an integral part of our success. We will be keeping you all posted on our break and our plans for when we return in May of 2017.
